Who can use AHS Primary Care & Mental Health Services?

Anyone 18 or older can use our services, and adolescents ages 13–17 may also participate with adult supervision.

If you're experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, burnout, or just need someone to talk to, our mental health services are a safe and supportive choice. Early support can prevent more serious concerns.

Expect a confidential, compassionate, and professional conversation focused on your emotional well-being. Your provider will listen, assess your needs, and guide you toward the right treatment plan.

Psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and certain licensed medical professionals can prescribe medications after a proper assessment. Therapists and counselors can recommend behavioral support but cannot prescribe.

We consider your preferences, symptoms, language, gender, and area of focus (e.g., anxiety, trauma, relationships) to match you with the most suitable and licensed therapist or psychiatrist.

Absolutely. If you already know who you’d like to see or wish to switch to another provider at any time, we make it easy and judgment-free.
